ABOUT DR. PADARIA Dr. Shoaib F. Padaria MD., DM(Card)., FACA(USA) Consultant Interventional Cardiologist. Special Interest: Coronary & Peripheral Angiography & Angioplasty Dr. Shoaib F. Padaria is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist associated with several leading hospitals in Mumbai. He is also in charge of Peripheral Vascular Interventions at the Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre. He acquired his under graduate and post graduate training at the KEM Hospital in Mumbai. He received training in Interventional Cardiovascular procedures at the Brook Hospital in London, and the Miami Vascular Institute, Florida. Apart from complex Cardiac and Coronary Interventions, Dr. Padaria performs Peripheral Interventions in Limb, Renal and Carotid arteries. He specializes in recanalization of occluded arteries in Diabetic Foot and Gangrene. Dr. Padaria pioneered the technique of Endovenous Laser Treatment for Varicose Veins in the country in January’ 2003, and has since than successfully performed more than a thousand cases. His work has been presented at various National and International forums, and he has been awarded the Dr. Dara Kapadia Oration for his work on Varicose Veins.
