27 yrs old male patient Mr V O , who is working
as an engineer which involves 8-9 hours of
continuous sitting work, presented with pain in
left leg, Large Superficial varicosities in medial
leg. Venous Doppler Study revealed S-F junction
incompetence , refluxing GSV & Superficial
varicosities. The GSV was ablated using
endovenous laser procedure. Large varicosities
in posterior calf was treated with foam
sclerotherapy. With this treatment , the
varicosities disappeared within a month with
relief of symptoms.
