                                                                  Reduces symptoms such as aching and pain



                                                                             Reduces ulcer recurrence




                                                              Speeds resolution of superficial phlebitis and DVT




                                                                              30 minutes daily is best



                                                              Lower extremity exercise is helpful (stay away from
                                                                heavy weight-lifting or other strenuous activity)
