Medical SuperGlue is the latest surgery-free procedure that uses a medical adhesive to safely and effectively treat varicose veins. Unlike other treatments, medical superglue Venaseal (USA) or VenaBlock (Turkey) only requires one local anaesthetic injection. Once the vein has been glued shut, it will undergo a process of hardening (sclerosis) and will be gradually absorbed by the body.

In some cases, patients will require additional treatment with ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy.
